Empowering Lives: KRSF and VSSM Transforming Marginalized Communities

 VSSM is committed to continually supporting nomadic tribes and underprivileged families to ensure they receive the facilities and privileges they deserve as citizens of this country through various government schemes. Dedicated teams of workers from the organization have been actively engaged in this effort across different districts. However, the team faces significant expenses, and the number of individuals willing to assist in such work is often very limited.

Many well-wishers prefer to assist with house construction, provide meals, or support education. However, some may not be inclined to pay an honorarium or help with travel expenses. Everyone has their own perspectives, and it is important to recognize that these viewpoints are also valid.

We believe that if the government allocates funds for the underprivileged, those resources should be used effectively. When tax money is spent on various welfare programs, it is essential to ensure that it is utilized properly. This way, donations from society can be preserved for additional support.

We assist VSSM in strengthening their teams of activists so they can effectively carry out human rights work. We believe government assistance along with our funding will significantly enhance the impact of our efforts, maybe multiple times.

Thanks to the support of KRSF and other well-wishers, VSSM has successfully helped many families obtain voter cards, ration cards, caste certificates, residential land plots, and housing assistance. In summary, we are able to connect them with various government welfare schemes and resources.

 In Sarsa village of Anand, artisan families reside in huts on the outskirts of the village. KRSF played a crucial role in helping them obtain Aadhaar cards and ration cards. The families expressed their gratitude for receiving these cards in front of Pratulbhai Shroff, stating that they are hopeful about quickly acquiring residential plots as well. With the support of food grains provided through their ration cards, these families feel more secure.

We were pleased to see the satisfaction on their faces. One can truly understand the significance of a ration card only when one meets them in person. We are grateful that VSSM, through the Dr. K.R. Shroff Foundation, is playing a vital role in bringing happiness to many families.

વિચરતી જાતિઓને તેમજ તક વંચિત પરિવારોને આ દેશના નાગરિક તરીકે આધારો, વિવિધ યોજનાઓની મદદ મળે તે માટે VSSM સતત પ્રયત્ન કરે. 
આ કાર્ય માટે વિવિધ જિલ્લામાં સંસ્થાના કાર્યકરોની ટીમ ખૂબ મથે. ટીમ પાછળ ખર્ચ પણ ઘણો થાય. સામાન્ય રીતે આવા કાર્યોમાં મદદ કરનાર લોકોની સંખ્યા એકદમ આંગળીના વેઢે ગણાય એટલી. 

મોટાભાગના સ્વજનોને ઘર બાંધકામ, કોઈને જમાડવું, શિક્ષણ આપવું આ પ્રકારના કાર્યોમાં મદદ કરવી ગમે. પણ કોઈને માનદ વેતન આપવામાં કે પ્રવાસ ખર્ચમાં મદદ કરવી ઓછી ગમે.. દરેકની પોતાની એક વિચાર સરણી એટલે એ યોગ્ય પણ ખરુ...

પણ અમને હંમેશા લાગે કે સરકાર વંચિતો માટે જે બજેટ ફાળવે તે યોગ્ય રીતે ખર્ચાય તો સમાજના સીધી રીતે ખર્ચાતા પૈસા બચે.. ટેક્સ રૂપે આપણે જે ભરીએ એમાંથી જ વિવિધ કલ્યાણકારી યોજનાઓમાં પૈસા ખર્ચાય ત્યારે એ નાણાં પણ યોગ્ય રીતે ખર્ચાય એ જોવું જરૂરી..

VSSMને અમે તેમના કાર્યકરોની ટીમને મજબૂત કરવા તેઓ માનવ અધિકારના કાર્યો કરી શકે તે માટે મદદ કરીએ. અમે માનીએ કે, 'આપણા નાણાંની સાથે સરકારની સહાય ભળે તો કામ બમણું અથવા એનાથીયે અનેક ઘણું થઈ જાય.

KRSF અને અન્ય સ્વજનોની મદદથી VSSM આજે અનેક પરિવારોને  મતદાર કાર્ડ, રેશનકાર્ડ, રહેવા પ્લોટ, જાતિ પ્રમાણપત્ર, રહેણાંક અર્થે પ્લોટ, ઘર માટે સહાય ટૂંકમાં અનેક પ્રકારની કલ્યાણકારી યોજનાની મદદ અપાવી શક્યું છે.

આણંદના સારસા ગામમાં સલાટ પરિવારો ગામના છેવાડે ઝૂંપડામાં રહે. ઓળખના આધારો  કઢાવવામાં KRSF નિમિત્ત બન્યું. રેશનકાર્ડ પણ આ પરિવારોને મળ્યા. અમારા પ્રતુલભાઈ શ્રોફ સામે આ પરિવારોએ કાર્ડ મળ્યાનો હરખ વ્યક્ત કર્યો ને હવે અમને ઝટ પ્લોટ પણ મળશે એવું કહ્યું.  રેશનકાર્ડના લીધે મળતા અનાજથી આ પરિવારોને ટેકો થયો.. 

એમના ચહેરા પરનો આનંદ જોઈને અમે પણ રાજી.. 

કોઈ માટે રેશનકાર્ડ આટલું મહત્વનું એ એમને પ્રત્યક્ષ મળીએ ત્યારે ખ્યાલ આવે. અમને આનંદ છે ડો. કે.આર. શ્રોફ ફાઉન્ડેશન VSSM ના માધ્યમથી અનેક પરિવારોના સુખમાં નિમિત્ત બની રહ્યું છે એનો આનંદ...

"Empowering Dreams: Daksh's Journey to Becoming a Skilled Tabalchi"

Daksh, a primary school student from Mota Umardagam in the Garhda taluka, aspires to become a skilled tabalchi (drum player). 

He often accompanied his father to listen to Santwani (prayer recitation) and Diara, where he was captivated by the tabalchi's performance. Watching the tabalchi skillfully tap on the tabla (drum) inspired him to pursue this passion. Since then, he began experimenting with the tabla during primary school prayers and gradually improved his playing skills.

Principal Hirenbhai of Mota Umardagam Primary School encouraged Daksha. School was facing a shortage of teachers. KRSF placed Divyaben in the school as a teacher. Daksha was in her class. Divyaben provided additional encouragement to Daksha. Whenever she noticed Daksha wasting time at school, she would ask him to practice on the tabla. She taught him the importance of making good use of his time instead of wasting it.

These days, Daksh plays the tabla well and sings nicely. The school staff, as well as Divyaben, ensure he studies consistently.

Every child has unique talents. Recognizing this, KRSF provides opportunities for each child to flourish in their own way. Divyaben learned this from our training and, as a result, began encouraging Daksha to develop his talent. 

We sincerely hope that Daksha's dream of becoming a tabla player comes true.

'મારે સારા તબલચી થવું છે'  ગઢડા તાલુકાના મોટા ઉમરડાગામની પ્રાથમિક શાળામાં ભણતા દક્ષની આ ખેવના.

દક્ષ પિતા સાથે સંતવાણી, ડાયરા સાંભળવા જતો. એ વખતે એ તબલચી સામે જોયા કરતો. તબલચીની તબલા પરની થાપ જોઈને એને મજા પડતી. એ વખતે એણે તબલચી બનવાનો નિર્ધાર કર્યો. પ્રાથમિક શાળામાં પ્રાર્થનામાં તબલા પર હાથ અજમાવવાનું એણે શરૃ કર્યું ને ધીમે ધીમે એ સારુ વગાડવા માંડ્યો. 

પ્રાથમિક શાળાના આચાર્ય હિરેનભાઈએ દક્ષને પ્રોત્સાહન આપ્યું. મોટાઉમરાળાની પ્રાથમિકશાળામાં શિક્ષકની ઘટ. KRSF એ દિવ્યાબહેનને શિક્ષિકા તરીકે આ શાળામાં મુક્યા. દક્ષ એમના વર્ગમાં. એમણે દક્ષને વધારે પ્રોત્સાહન આપ્યું. દક્ષ શાળામાં ક્યાંક સમય વેડફતો નજરે પડે કે દિવ્યાબહેન એને તબલા પર પ્રેક્ટીસ કરવા કહે. સમય વેડફ્યા વગર એનો સદઉપયોગ કરવાનું એમણે એને શીખવ્યું. 

દક્ષ આજે સરસ તબલા વગાડી રહ્યો છે સાથે ગાય પણ સરસ છે. ભણવાનું ન છુટે એનું ધ્યાન શાળાના સ્ટાફની સાથે સાથે દિવ્યાબહેન રાખે છે... 

દરેક બાળક જુદી પ્રતિભા ધરાવે. આ પ્રતિભા જોઈને એને એ પ્રમાણે ખીલવાનો મોકો આપવાનું KRSF માને. દિવ્યાબેન પણ અમારી તાલીમમાંથી આ શીખ્યા એટલે એમણે દક્ષની પ્રતિભા ખીલે એ માટે એને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવાનું શરૃ કર્યું. 
દક્ષનું તબલચી બનવાનું સ્વપ્ન પૂર્ણ થાય એવી અભ્યર્થના...
