One of our acquaintances gets a lot of electronic toys for his child. Although he himself was very

keen in his childhood to play with these types of toys but his father did not have such financial capacity.

But he had that luxury and thinking that his child should not be deprived of these choices, he gifted various nice toys to the child.

But as soon as child would grasp the toy, he will open the whole toy when he is alone. Then he would try to fix it but would not succeed. Seeing the unassembled toy, boy's parents would get very angry. First they tried to tell the child not to do that and finally would raise their hand on him.

However, in a nutshell, the curiosity of the child was to understand how this toy works, how it walks, and speaks, and so on.

Every child is full of immense possibilities. If we remove the shackles from his/her feet, then he/she will fluff up, shake up the whole world. We, at Dr. K. R. Shroff Foundation, very well understand the child's psyche. So, we brought nearly 65,000 equipment to three of the most enthusiastic schools where our teachers work, so that children can do a

variety of science experiments on their own. After teaching the experiment once, teachers may assist them for some time and then they need not even do it. These has developed teamwork and research qualities in children.

Seeing the success, we decided to have 1645 children of class 9 & 10 in 19 schools, to do experiments.

We gifted the equipment there. 7 out of these 19 high schools - Hatharwal, Kanpur, Bhanpur,

Kishangarh, Munai, Dholwaani and Kukdia High

Schools contributed 12,000 towards the installation of equipment. If things are done in partnership with like-minded people, we believe that the results will turn out to be excellent. Hence, such partnership is always welcome. Netramali school bought the equipment on its own without the help of the foundation. That is even far better!

If only every school showed such enthusiasm, children's abilities would be truly demonstrated right from childhood. Children will not face and get stuck in the question of what to do when they grow up. They can advance their future career in the direction of what they are really interested in.

શાળામાં પૂરતા સાધનો, વિદ્યાર્થીઓને શ્રેષ્ઠ વ્યવહારુ અને વિજ્ઞાનનું જ્ઞાન પ્રદાન કરે.

અમારા એક પરિચીત તેમના બાળક માટે ઈલેકટ્રોનીક રમકડાં ઘણા લાવે. જો કે એ જે રમકડાં લાવતા એવા રમકડાંથી રમવાની એમની નાનપણમાં ઘણી હોંશ હતી પણ એમના પિતા પાસે એવી સગવડ નહોતી. પણ તેમની પાસે સગવડ હતી ને એમના બાળકની મનની મનમાં રહી ન જાય એવું વિચારી એ અવનવી ભેટરૃપે સરસ રમકડાં બાળકને આપે.

પણ બાળકના હાથમાં રમકડું આવે ને જેવું એકલું પડે કે એ આખુ રમકડું ખોલી નાખે. પછી ફીક્સ કરવા કોશીશ કરે પણ એ ન થાય. 

ખોલી નાખેલું રમકડું જોઈને એના માતા-પિતા બેયને ભયંકર ગુસ્સો આવે. પહેલાં બાળકને સમજાવવા પ્રયત્ન કર્યો ને છેવટે હાથ ઉપાડવાનું શરૃ થયું. પણ આ બધામાં બાળકની જીજ્ઞાસા આ રમકડુ ચાલે કેવી રીતે, બોલે કેવી રીતે વગેરે સમજવાની હતી ને માતા -પિતા બેય એ સમજવામાં ઊણા રહ્યા..

બાળક અપાર શક્યતાઓથી ભરપૂર. જો આપણે એના પગમાંથી બેડીઓ કાઢી નાખીએ તો એ આખી દુનિયા ફંફોસી નાખે. અમે, એટલે કે ડૉ. કે. આર. શ્રોફ ફાઉન્ડેશન, બાળમાનસને બરાબર સમજે. એટલે અમે જે શાળાઓમાં અમારા શિક્ષકો કામ કરે તેમાંથી સૌથી ઉત્સાહી એવી ત્રણ શાળાઓમાં વિજ્ઞાનના જાત જાતના પ્રયોગો બાળકો જાતે કરી શકે તે માટે 65,000ના સાધનો લાવી આપ્યા. શિક્ષકો એક વખત પ્રયોગ શીખવે પછી સહાયક તરીકે સાથે ઊભા રહે ને પછી તો એનીયે જરૃર નહીં. આનાથી ટીમવર્કના ગુણો પણ બાળકોમાં વિકસ્યા ને એમનું રીસર્ચ પણ વધ્યું.

સફળતા જોઈને આ વર્ષે 19 શાળાઓમાં ધો.9 અને 10 ના કુલ 1645 બાળકોને પ્રયોગ કરાવવાનું નક્કી કર્યું ને ત્યાં અમે સાધનો ભેટરૃપે આપવાનું કર્યું. આ 19માંથી 7 શાળાઓ - હાથરવા હાઇસ્કુલ, કાનપુર હાઈસ્કુલ, ભાણપુર હાઈસ્કુલ, કિશનગઢ હાઈસ્કુલ, મુનાઇ હાઈસ્કુલ, ધોલવાણી હાઈસ્કુલ અને કુકડિયા હાઈસ્કુલે સાધનો વસાવવામાં 12,000નો ફાળો પણ આપ્યો.

ભાગીદારીથી કાર્યો થાય તો પરિણામ ઉત્તમ મળે એવું અમે માનીયે એટલે આવી ભાગીદારી આવકાર્ય પણ ખરી. 

નેત્રામલી શાળાએ તો ફાઉન્ડેશનની મદદ વગર પોતાની રીતે જ સાધનો લીધા... એ તો વળી સૌથી ઋડુ.

બસ આવો ઉત્સાહ દરેક શાળાઓ બતાવે તો બાળકોની ક્ષમતાનો સાચો પરિચય નાનપણથી થઈ જાય.

મોટા થઈને હવે શું કરીએ એવો સવાલ બાળકોને ન થાય, અટવાય નહી. એમનું ભવિષ્ય એમને શામાં રસ છે તે દિશામાં જ એ પોતાની કારકિર્દી આગળ વધારે.
