Mid-day meal scheme became successful bringing underprivileged children to school. One army man

from Lunawada publicly said that I used to go to school only because I got mid-day meal and I finished my studies because of that only.

The government understands the situation of the country and implements various schemes. It wants to help all the people living in the remote areas. Let us talk about one inspiring scheme run by the

government.

NMMS- National Means- Cum- Merit Scholarship exam is conducted by Government for smart students to continue their studies and not drop out from school. Students studying in 8th standard can take this exam. They have to work hard to pass it. If children pass this exam they get a monthly scholarship of 1000 up to 12th Std. This is very useful to them for further study.

Dr. K. R. Shroff Foundation strives to help every bright student to get this scholarship. For that, The

foundation teachers work with the government school teachers providing special distinguished

preparation to the bright students. So far the foundation has played an important role in getting 1731

students to pass the NMMS exam.

Shri Pratulbhai came to congratulate the girls

Recently we happened to go to Kubaadhrol village of Sabarkantha. Two girls, Nishtha and Purva,

studying in high school, passed this exam. Foundation teacher Rashmikaben and Nikunjbhai along with school teachers played a significant role in preparing these two girls for the exam.

The dreams of both girls are very big. It is a matter of great pride for their families to be among the

limited number of children out of thousands of children to pass this exam.

Our Pratulbhai Shroff met Nishtha and Purva. He congratulated both girls and also guided them that

there are many other courses, other than doctor and engineer, that can lead to a distinguished career.

May the two girls brighten the name of Kubaadharol village...

શિક્ષકની વિશેષ કાળજી અને ધ્યાનથી ઘણાના સપના સાકાર થયા.

મધ્યાહન ભોજન યોજના વંચિત બાળકોને શાળામાં લઈ આવવા કારગત નીવડી. લુણાવાડાના એક આર્મીમેને જાહેરમાં કહેલું કે, હું શાળામાં મધ્યાહન ભોજન મળતું એટલે જ જતો અને એના લીધે જ હું ભણ્યો. 

સરકાર દેશની સ્થિતિ સમજીને વિવધ યોજનાઓ કાર્યાન્વીત કરે.. એનાથી અંતરિયાળ વિસ્તારમાં રહેનાર સૌને એની મદદ મળે એમ ઈચ્છે.. સરકાર દ્વારા ચાલતી મજાની યોજનાની આજે વાત કરવી છે. 

હોંશિયાર વિદ્યાર્થીઓ શાળા છોડી ન દે. શાળામાં   તેઓ ટકી રહે તે માટે સરકારા દ્વારા NMMS પરિક્ષા લેવામાં આવે. ધો.8માં ભણતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ આ પરીક્ષા આપી શકે અને એ પાસ કરવા એમને ઘણી મહેનત કરવી પડે. પણ જો પરિક્ષા પાસ કરી લેતો ધો. 12 સુધી બાળકોને માસીક 1000ની સ્કોલરશીપ મળે. જે એમને ભણવા માટે કામ આવે..

ડૉ. કે. આર. શ્રોફ ફાઉન્ડેશન આ સ્કોલરશીપની મદદ દરેક હોંશિયાર વિદ્યાર્થીને મળે તે માટે પ્રયત્નશીલ. એ માટે જે તે સરકારી શાળાના શિક્ષકોની સાથે સાથે ફાઉન્ડેશનના શિક્ષકો પણ હોંશિયાર વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ખાસ અલાયદી તૈયારી કરાવે.

તાજેતરમાં સાબરકાંઠાના કુબાધરોલ ગામમાં જવાનું થયું. હાઈસ્કૂલમાં ભણતી નિષ્ઠા અને પૂર્વા બેય દીકરીઓએ આ પરિક્ષા પાસ કરી. ફાઉન્ડેશનના શિક્ષક રશ્મીકાબહેન તેમજ નિકુંજભાઈની શાળાના શિક્ષકોની સાથે આ બેય દિકરીઓને પરીક્ષાની તૈયારી કરાવવામાં મહત્વની ભૂમિકા.

બેય દીકરીઓના સ્વપ્ન બહુ મોટા. હજારો બાળકો આ પરિક્ષા આપે એમાંથી ચોક્કસ સંખ્યામાં પાસ થતા બાળકોમાં તેમનો નંબર આવવો એ તેમના પરિવાર માટે પણ ગર્વની વાત..

નિષ્ઠા અને પૂર્વાને અમારા પ્રતુલભાઈ શ્રોફ રૃબરૃ મળ્યા. બેય દીકરીઓને તેમણે બીરદાવી તેમજ ડોક્ટર, એન્જીનીયર સિવાય પણ ઘણા એવા કોર્સ છે જે કરીને નોખી કારકીર્દી બનાવી શકાય તે અંગે માર્ગદર્શન પણ આપ્યું. બેય દિકરીઓ કુબાધરોલ ગામનું નામ રોશન કરે એવી શુભેચ્છા.
