Speaking of HSC result : the teachers all hard work reflects on it

The poor result of 10th caused sleepless nights to the school principal and the teachers. The teachers started to check where the efforts fell short. In a way, there is always success or failure in any endeavor. If we are successful, we share our happiness and if we fail, instead of being sad, we start to check and correct the mistakes and see that missteps do not happen again.

The teachers believed that the children studying in the high school of Shyamnagar village of Khedbrahma in Sabarkantha district would be working hard at home after returning from school under the observation of their parents. But the parents themselves are less educated. They dream that their children will occupy good positions, stand their own feet, not have to face the same hardships that they are facing. They also believe that these dreams will be fulfill through education. But, they fall to encourage their children to study at home. Because basically, there is no such understanding developed among them.

Dr. K R Shroff Foundation has filled the shortage of teachers in Shyamnagar High School. Nirmalben,

who was placed by institution, along with the principal of the school Mr. Jayeshbhai Joshi contacted the

parents. After the meeting, they felt that parents would not be able to do much for the children, even if

they intended to. Eventually the teachers devised a strategy of their own. They requested one more

teacher from the foundation and we deputed Dhartiben over there to help.

There are 28 students in class 10. The school and the foundation teachers distributed 28 students of

class 10 along with the students studying in class 9 among themselves. Four students were assigned to

each teacher. Teachers started working hard with them.

The teachers of the foundation taught the children after the school hours. Earlier the students had

scored barely 4 to 5 marks in the examination out of 20 marks, taken by the foundation. But with continuous efforts, now the students have scored 12 to 14 marks. The teachers of the school have decided to raise their school's 10th grade result, which is likely to be realized through teamwork. From the District Education Officer to the administration and also our team from the Foundation, constantly encourage the high school teachers of Shyamnagar to achieve the goal.

We will see what a commitment can do when the result of the 10th class exam is out in 2024. But the real thing is ''the commitment''.

We wish for every village school, high school to be committed like this...

એચ.એસ.સી પરિણામની વાત કરીએ તો શિક્ષકોની બધી મહેનત તેના પર પ્રતિબિંબિત થાય

ધો. 10ના નબળા પરિણામે શાળાના આચાર્યથી લઈને શિક્ષકોની ઊંઘ હરામ કરી દીધી. મહેનતમાં ક્યાં કચાશ રહી તે તપાસવાનું શિક્ષકગણે શરૃ કર્યું. 

આમ જુઓ તો કોઈ પણ કાર્યમાં સફળતા અથવા નિષ્ફળતા મળી શકે. સફળ થઈએ તો હર્ષ વહેંચીયે ને નિષ્ફળ થઈએ તો દુઃખી થવાની જગ્યાએ કચાશ ક્યાં રહી તે તપાસી થયેલી ભૂલોને સુધારવાનું કરીએ.

સાબરકાંઠાના ખેડબ્રહ્માના શ્યામનગરગામની હાઈસ્કૂલમાં ભણતા બાળકો નિશાળમાંથી ઘરે જાય પછી ઘરે પણ મહેનત કરતા હશે, વાલીઓ એમના પર ધ્યાન આપતા હશે એવું શિક્ષકોએ માનેલું. પણ વાલીઓ પોતે ઓછુ ભણેલા. એ પોતાના બાળકો સરસ જગ્યાએ પહોંચે, પગભર થાય, પોતે વેઠે છે એવી વિપદા એમને વેઠવી ન પડે એવા સમણા સેવે અને ભણતરથી એ સમણાં સાકાર થશે એમ પણ માને પણ એ માટે બાળકોને ઘરે ભણવા પ્રોત્સાહીત કરવાનું એ ઝાઝુ કરી ન શકે. અલબત એ બાબતની સમજણ પણ નહીં. 

ડૉ. કે.આર.શ્રોફ ફાઉન્ડેશને શ્યામનગરની હાઈસ્કૂલમાં શિક્ષકની ઘટ પૂર્તી કરેલી. સંસ્થા તરફથી મુકેલા નિર્મલબહેને શાળાના આચાર્યશ્રી જયેશભાઈ જોષી સાથે મળી વાલીઓનો સંપર્ક કર્યો. સંપર્ક દરમ્યાન વાલીઓ ઈચ્છે તો પણ બાળકો પાછળ મહેનત નહીં કરી શકે એવું એમને લાગ્યું.

આખરે શિક્ષકોએ પોતાની રીતે એક રણનીતિ ઘડી. એમણે વધુ એક શિક્ષકની ફાઉન્ડેશન પાસેથી માંગણી કરી અને અમે ધરતીબેનને આપ્યા. 

ધો.10માં કુલ 28 વિદ્યાર્થીઓ. 9માં ધોરણમાં ભણતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓની સાથે ધો.10ના 28 વિદ્યાર્થીઓને શાળાના અને ફાઉન્ડેશનના શિક્ષકોએ વહેંચી દીધા. દરેક શિક્ષકના ભાગે ચાર વિદ્યાર્થીઓ આવ્યા. જેમની પાછળ શિક્ષકોએ મહેનત કરવાનું શરૃ કર્યું. શાળાના સમય સિવાય પણ બાળકોને ભણાવવાનું ફાઉન્ડેશનના શિક્ષકો કરે. ફાઉન્ડેશન દ્વારા લેવાતી 20 માર્કસની પરિક્ષામાં પહેલાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માંડ 4 થી 5 માર્કસ લાવતા પણ સતત પ્રયત્નથી હવે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ 12 થી 14 માર્કસે પહોંચ્યા. પોતાની શાળાનું ધો.10નું પરિણામ ઊંચુ લાવવાનો નિર્ધાર શાળાના શિક્ષકોએ કર્યો છે, જે ટીમવર્કથી પૂર્ણ થશે એવું લાગી રહ્યું છે. જિલ્લા શિક્ષણ અધિકારીથી લઈને વહીવટીતંત્ર તેમજ ફાઉન્ડેશનની અમારી ટીમ પણ શ્યામનગરની હાઈસ્કૂલના શિક્ષકોને આ બાબતે સતત પ્રોત્સાહીત કરે.

એક નિર્ધાર શું કરી શકે તે આપણે 2024માં લેનાર ધો.10ની પરિક્ષાના પરિણામમાં જોઈશું. પણ મજાની વાત કટીબદ્ધતાની છે.

દરેક ગામની શાળા, હાઈસ્કૂલ આ પ્રકારે કટીબદ્ધ થાય તેવું ઈચ્છીયે…
