Rohit lost his parental umbrella in his childhood. His grandmother and uncle raised him. But the financial condition of the house was very poor. If one thing is fixed, there would be thirteen more to be fixed. There was no one to pay special attention to Rohit's education or his upbringing.

Little Rohit could not do any work. So, if sometimes there was no food in the house and if he could not tolerate hunger, he would go out of the house and begs for food. His condition was like a wandering boy without a family. Rohit lived in Dhasaagam of Gadhada taluka.

When there is shortage of teachers in the primary school of the village, our organization meets the

shortage of these teachers. Likewise, we placed Kirtiben for this fulfillment. We recruit teachers and train them repeatedly how to work with children, how to make children learn lovingly, how to give them moral education, etc.

Kirtiben paying special attention to Rohit

Kirtiben is a very caring teacher. One day her attention was drawn to Rohit, a boy begging in dirty, torn clothes. She did not wince at seeing him, nor did she feel satisfied by just giving him a packet of Parle biscuits. She talked to Rohit and persuaded him to come to School. She explained what happens if we study. As a result, Rohit got ready to come to school. Considering his age, he was admitted to the second standard. Kirtiben and the entire school thought that there would be questions of his regularity. But Kirtiben played the role of real Maa. She constantly encouraged Rohit to attend school regularly. Now he studies in the third. He looks completely different.

What a teacher can do can be demonstrated from this example. We feel proud to have such teachers

with us....

માતા-પિતાની ગેરહાજરીમાં બાળક હજુ પણ યોગ્ય શિક્ષણ મેળવી શકે

રોહિતે નાનપણમાં માતા પિતાની છત્રછાયા ગુમાવી.દાદી અને કાકા એને ઉછેરે. પણ ઘરની આર્થિક સ્થિતિ તદન મોળી. એક સાંધે ત્યાં તેર તુટે એવી સ્થિતિમાં રોહિતના ભણવા ઉપર કે તેના ઉછેર પર કોઈ ખાસ ધ્યાન ન આપી શકે.

રોહીત નાનકડો કોઈ કામ ન કરી શકે. પણ ઘરમાં ક્યારેક ખાવા ન હોય ને ભૂખ સહન ન થાય એટલે ઘર બહાર નીકળી ભીખ માંગી ખાય.

એના દીદાર રઝળતા પરિવાર વગરના છોકરાં જેવા.

આ રોહીત ગઢડા તાલુકાના ઢસાગામમાં રહે. ગામની
પ્રાથમિકશાળામાં શિક્ષકોની ઘટ તે અમારી સંસ્થા આ શિક્ષકોની ઘટની પૂર્તી કરે. કીર્તીબેનને આ પૂર્તતા માટે જ અમે મુકેલા. અમે શિક્ષકોની ભરતી કરીએ એમને બાળકો સાથે કેવી રીતે કામ કરવું, રૃચી લઈને બાળકને ભણતા કેવી રીતે કરવા તેમને સંસ્કારલક્ષી શિક્ષણ કેવી રીતે આપવું વગેરે વખતો વખત તાલીમ આપી શીખવીએ.

Teachers celebrated his birthday at school

કીર્તીબેન એકદમ લાગણીશીલ શિક્ષક. એક દિવસ એમનું ધ્યાન ભીખ માંગી રહેલા લઘરવઘર દીદારવાળા રોહીત પર પડ્યું. એમણે એને જોઈને મોં ન મચકોડ્યું ન પાર્લે બીસ્કીટનું પેકેટ આપી સંતોષ માન્યો. એમણે રોહીતને નિશાળ આવવા સમજાવ્યો. ભણીએ તો શું થાય એ સમજાવ્યું. પરિણામે રોહીત નિશાળ આવવા તૈયાર થયો. એની ઉંમર પ્રમાણે એને બીજા ધોરણમાં પ્રવેશ આપ્યો. 

નિયમીતતાના પ્રશ્નો રહેશે એવું કીર્તીબેન અને આખી નિશાળને લાગતું. પણ કીર્તીબહેને માની ભૂમિકા ભજવી. રોહીત નિયમીત શાળાએ આવે તે માટે સતત પ્રોત્સાહીત કર્યો. હવે તો એ ત્રીજામાં ભણે. એના દિદાર સાવ બદલાઈ ગયા. 

શિક્ષક શું કરી શકે તેવા આ ઉદાહરણ પરથી સમજી શકાય.
