Knowledge with fun : Teacher's efforts can make education a fun activity

There are many types of charity: donating money, education, devote time & labor, give away your land, donation of blood, organs, body etc.
Sandipbhai Vasava works as a teacher in Ubhaariya Primary School in Sagabara Taluka. He takes Maths, English and Bridge course in classes of Grade 4 and 5. Children are very irregular as the labor class is very high in the village. Because of irregularity, 7 children studying in class 5 last year could not pass the exam. Sandeepbhai met the parents of these children. Some said their children have failed. Now what can they do after studying? Nothing! So we send them with cattle to graze. Some parents said that we explain to them but after we leave for work in the morning, they spend their time arbitrarily. They leave for school with their study bags but do not go to school and play on the streets.
Sandeepbhai not only convinced parents, but next day he left early and met these children outside the
school and told them that he would teach them new games, show them new videos, and do other fun
activities. They agreed to come to the school. He would allocate 1 hour extra in the morning and evening for the children imparting practical education so that they not only enjoyed but also mingled with Sandipbhai and started coming to school regularly. Knowledge with fun, various activities and the use of TLM, Sandipbhai enabled the children to read and write. He taught them dialogue delivery, acting and singing in English. He uses the digital board in school to show children beautiful videos of stories, fun activities, poems and puzzles. Children can now introduce themselves and communicate in English language. When the school inspector visited the school, considering the request of Sandeepbhai and his faith in these children, inspector interviewed these children one on one basis.
Deeming them fit, he recommended to send all the children to higher class.

આનંદ સાથે જ્ઞાન : શિક્ષકના પ્રયત્નો શિક્ષણને મનોરંજક પ્રવૃત્તિ બનાવી શકે

દાનના અનેક પ્રકાર છે. ધનદાન, વિદ્યાદાન, સમયદાન, શ્રમદાન, ભૂદાન, રક્તદાન, અંગદાન, દેહદાન વિગેરે.

સંદીપભાઈ વસાવા સાગબારા તાલુકામાં ઉભારીયા પ્રાથમિક શાળામાં શિક્ષક તરીકે કામ કરી રહ્યા છે. તે ધોરણ 4 અને 5 માં ગણિત, અંગ્રેજી અને બ્રીજકોર્સના વર્ગો લે છે. ગામમાં મજુર વર્ગ વધારે હોવાથી બાળકો અનિયમિત આવતા હોય છે. જેના લીધે ગયા વર્ષે ધોરણ 5માં અભ્યાસ કરતા 7 બાળકો અનિયમિત રહેતા હોવાથી પરીક્ષા પાસ ન કરી શક્યાં. સંદીપભાઈ આ બાળકોના વાલીને મળ્યા.

કેટલાકે કહ્યું તેમના બાળકો તો નાપાસ થયાં. હવે ભણીને શું કરશે એટલે ઢોર ચરાવવા મોકલીએ છીએ. કેટલાક વાલીઓએ કહ્યું અમે તો તેમને સમજાવીએ છીએ પણ અમે સવારે મજૂરીએ નીકળી જઈએ પછી તેઓ મનમાની કરે છે. તેઓ દફતર લઈ શાળાએ જવા નીકળી જાય છે પણ શાળા સુધી પહોંચતા નથી અને રસ્તામાં રમે છે. સંદીપભાઈએ વાલીઓને તો સમજાવ્યા પણ બીજા દિવસે વહેલા નીકળી શાળા બહાર આ બાળકોને મળ્યા અને તેમને નવી રમતો શીખવાડશે, નવા નવા વિડીયો બતાવશે, પ્રવૃત્તિઓ કરાવશે તેવું કહી શાળાએ આવવા રાજી કર્યા. તેઓ બાળકો માટે સવાર અને સાંજ 1 કલાક એક્સ્ટ્રા સમય ફાળવતા અને પ્રવુતિમય શિક્ષણ કરાવતા જેથી બાળકોને પણ મઝા આવતી અને બાળકો પણ સંદીપભાઈ જોડે ભળી ગયાં અને શાળાએ નિયમિત આવતાં થયાં. ગમ્મત સાથે જ્ઞાન આપી, વિવિધ પ્રવૃત્તિઓ અને TLM ના ઉપયોગથી સંદીપભાઈએ બાળકોને લખતા વાંચતા કર્યા. તેઓ બાળકો પાસે અંગ્રેજીમાં સંવાદ, અભિનય અને અભિનયગીત કરાવે છે. તેઓ શાળાએ વહેલા આવી ડીઝીટલ બોર્ડનો ઉપયોગ કરી બાળકોને વાર્તા, પ્રવૃત્તિ, કવિતા અને પઝલના સુંદર વિડીયો બતાવે છે. બાળકો હવે અંગ્રેજીમાં પોતાનો પરિચય આપી શકે છે. સંવાદ કરી શકે છે. જયારે સ્કૂલ ઇન્સ્પેક્ટરની શાળામાં વિઝીટ આવી ત્યારે સંદીપભાઈની વિનંતી અને આ બાળકો પ્રત્યેના તેમના વિશ્વાસને જોઈ આ બાળકોને વન ટુ વન ચેક કરતા તેમણે યોગ્ય સમજીને બધા બાળકોને ઉપલા વર્ગમાં મોકલવા ભલામણ કરી.
